Single & Bulk Orders

Single Orders & Bulk Orders at Remarkable Marketplace

Remarkable Marketplace is designed to serve different kinds of buyers. You may be an individual looking for one product for personal or household use, a business purchasing several units for daily operations, a reseller looking for products in quantity, or a contractor, developer or organization sourcing products for a larger project. Our ordering process is structured to accommodate these different requirements while keeping product specifications, pricing and delivery arrangements as clear as possible.

Not every order should be handled in exactly the same way. A customer buying one standard product from our marketplace may require a relatively simple ordering process, while a customer requesting fifty customized entrance doors, a large quantity of electronics or products manufactured to a particular specification will require additional sourcing, supplier confirmation, freight planning and quotation work. This page explains the difference between single orders and bulk orders, what information we may require from you, and what you should expect as your order progresses.

1. What Is a Single Order?

A single order is generally an order for one item or a relatively small quantity of a product. It may be for personal use, a household, an office, a small business or another everyday requirement. Examples could include one electronic device, one water-related product, one gift item, one entrance door or a small number of standard products.

Some single orders can be purchased from products already listed on our marketplace. Other single orders may still require sourcing. For example, you may need a particular model, size, colour or configuration that is not currently listed. In that situation, we can review your request as a custom sourcing enquiry even if you only need one unit.

How a Single Order Works

Step 1 — Select or identify the product. You can browse the products available on Remarkable Marketplace. If the product you need is not listed, you can send us the product name, photograph, link, model number or other useful reference so that we can understand what you are looking for.

Step 2 — Confirm the specification. Specifications matter because products that look similar may have important differences. Depending on the product, we may need to confirm size, model, material, colour, voltage, storage capacity, operation type, accessories, lock type or another relevant detail. For entrance doors, for example, the overall dimensions, manual or automatic operation, construction material and required hardware can materially affect the product and price.

Step 3 — Review price and delivery requirements. Products listed on our website may display a selling price. However, customized products and specially sourced products can require a separate quotation. Delivery may also depend on the destination and the nature, size and weight of the product. We do not treat an unconfirmed shipping cost as though it is automatically included.

Step 4 — Confirm the order. Before an order that requires special sourcing or customization proceeds, the relevant product specification, quantity, price and applicable delivery terms should be understood. This reduces the risk of ordering the wrong product or assuming that an optional feature is included when it has not been confirmed.

Step 5 — Fulfilment and delivery. The fulfilment process depends on whether the product is available, sourced specifically for the order, customized or manufactured after confirmation. Where a production or delivery timeline needs supplier confirmation, we provide that information when it is available rather than presenting an estimate as a guaranteed date.

2. What Is a Bulk Order?

A bulk order involves purchasing a larger quantity of one product or a combination of products. Bulk purchasing can be useful for retailers, resellers, offices, hospitality businesses, contractors, property developers, schools, organizations and other customers who need products for commercial use or a project.

There is no single quantity that automatically makes every product a bulk order. Ten units may be significant for one expensive product while one hundred units may be considered a relatively small quantity for another. We therefore assess bulk enquiries according to the product, supplier requirements, requested quantity, packaging, customization and logistics involved.

Bulk orders can sometimes provide access to different supplier pricing or manufacturing options, but a lower unit price is not automatic. Supplier minimum order quantities, material costs, customization, packaging, freight and other requirements can affect the final price. Any applicable bulk pricing is therefore determined from the actual quotation rather than promised in advance.

3. How Bulk & Project Orders Work

Step 1 — Send the complete requirement. Start by telling us what you need. The most useful request includes the product name, specification, quantity and delivery city/state. Product photographs, links, drawings, dimensions or model numbers can also help us identify the correct item.

Step 2 — We review the specification. We check whether enough information is available to prepare an accurate sourcing request. If the product is customized, technical details may be necessary. For example, a building-material order may require dimensions, configuration, finish and accessories, while an electronics order may require an exact model, memory/storage configuration, voltage or condition.

Step 3 — Supplier and sourcing review. Where sourcing is required, relevant supplier information may be reviewed before the quotation is finalized. Depending on the order, this can include unit pricing, minimum order quantity, customization capability, production requirements, packaging dimensions, gross weight, material specification, included accessories and available shipping arrangements.

Step 4 — Cost and logistics review. International sourcing involves more than the advertised factory price. Product cost, international freight, import or clearing costs where applicable, local delivery and other transaction or logistics costs can affect the amount required to complete the order. Costs that remain unconfirmed should be identified rather than silently treated as included.

Step 5 — Quotation. Once enough information is available, a quotation can be prepared. The quotation should identify the product, specification or size, quantity, unit price where applicable, total product price, delivery or shipping status, destination, relevant terms and any confirmed lead-time information. An estimate remains an estimate until the information required for a final quotation has been confirmed.

Step 6 — Order confirmation and procurement. After the quotation and applicable payment requirements are accepted, procurement, manufacturing or fulfilment can proceed according to the agreed order. For specially sourced products, we use the confirmed requirement as the basis for supplier communication to reduce misunderstandings.

Step 7 — Shipping and delivery. The shipping method depends on the order. Small products and heavy building materials do not have the same logistics requirements. Where international freight, customs/clearing or Nigerian local delivery is handled separately, this should be reflected in the order arrangement.

4. Project Orders

Project orders are often more detailed than ordinary bulk purchases. A construction project, property development, office setup or commercial procurement request may involve several products, multiple specifications, phased quantities or delivery requirements. In these cases, the objective is not simply to multiply a retail price by the number of units. We first need to understand what the project actually requires.

For project orders, customers should provide schedules, measurements, quantities or product lists where available. If several products have similar specifications, consolidating the requirements can make supplier communication more efficient and can help us compare sourcing options more accurately. Where a project contains different sizes or configurations, those variations should be identified separately.

5. Custom Products

Customization can affect price, production and delivery. A product photograph alone does not always confirm the construction, internal components, dimensions or accessories. If you request the same design in a different size, material or operating configuration, we treat those changes as part of the specification that must be confirmed.

For example, an entrance door requested as a manual model should not automatically be substituted with an automatic version simply because the appearance is similar. Likewise, overall frame dimensions should not be assumed to be the same as door-leaf dimensions. These distinctions help protect both the customer and Remarkable Marketplace from ordering errors.

6. International Product Sourcing

Remarkable Marketplace may source products from international manufacturers and suppliers when suitable products are not available through our existing marketplace listings or local sourcing options. International sourcing can provide access to a wider range of products and customization, but it also introduces additional variables that must be considered before a final price or delivery commitment is made.

An online supplier listing should not automatically be treated as the final cost of one unit. Some supplier advertisements show prices based on minimum order quantities, large-volume purchases, square-metre calculations, basic configurations or promotional ranges. The exact specification and quantity therefore need to be checked before the displayed supplier price can be used for a customer quotation.

International orders can also involve freight, packaging, customs or clearing costs and local delivery after arrival in Nigeria. These costs vary according to the product, weight, dimensions, shipping method and destination. Where they have not yet been confirmed, we will not represent them as confirmed charges.

7. What Information Should You Send?

The more accurate your request is, the more efficiently we can review it. For most orders, the following information is useful:

  • Product name or clear description
  • Product photograph or reference link where available
  • Brand and model, if a specific model is required
  • Required size, dimensions or technical specification
  • Quantity
  • Colour, finish or configuration where applicable
  • Delivery city and state in Nigeria
  • Whether customization is required
  • Any project deadline or special requirement that we should know about

Some categories require additional information. Electronics may require exact RAM, storage, voltage or condition. Entrance doors may require overall width and height, manual or automatic operation, single/double/pivot configuration, construction material, lock requirements, finish and quantity. We only request information that is relevant to identifying and quoting the product correctly.

8. Understanding Our Quotations

A quotation is intended to make the proposed order clear. For products requiring sourcing, the final amount can be influenced by supplier pricing, currency movements, freight, import-related costs and delivery arrangements. This is why a preliminary estimate should not be confused with a confirmed quotation.

Where shipping is not yet confirmed, the quotation or communication should state that shipping or delivery will be calculated or agreed separately. Similarly, installation is not automatically included simply because the product may require installation. If installation forms part of an order, it should be specifically stated.

For bulk orders, quotations may have a validity period because supplier pricing, freight and exchange rates can change. Customers should review the product specification and commercial terms carefully before confirming an order.

9. Pricing for Single and Bulk Orders

Single-unit and bulk pricing can differ because suppliers may price products according to quantity, packaging or production requirements. However, we do not advertise an assumed wholesale discount without confirming the actual sourcing conditions. A large quantity can sometimes reduce the factory unit cost while simultaneously increasing freight, handling or other logistics expenses.

Our goal is to prepare pricing that reflects the actual order requirements rather than simply quoting the lowest price found online. Extremely low marketplace prices may relate to a different specification, a large minimum order quantity or a product that excludes important components. Comparable products must therefore be reviewed carefully.

10. Availability, Production and Lead Times

Availability varies between products. Some items may be available for normal fulfilment, while others may need to be sourced or produced after an order is confirmed. Customized and bulk products may require additional production time. We therefore avoid guaranteeing inventory, manufacturing time or delivery dates until the relevant information has been confirmed for the specific order.

If a lead time is provided as an estimate while confirmation is pending, it should be understood as an estimate. Confirmed timelines will be communicated when the supplier, logistics provider or applicable fulfilment process supports them.

11. Delivery and Logistics

Delivery arrangements depend on the product and destination. A lightweight consumer product can be handled differently from a large entrance door or a high-volume commercial order. Product weight, packaging dimensions, quantity and destination can all affect logistics costs.

For internationally sourced products, the logistics process can include transportation from the supplier, international freight, import or clearing procedures where applicable, and final delivery within Nigeria. These components may be quoted together or separately depending on what has been confirmed for the order.

12. Changes After a Quote

If you change the quantity, specification, model, dimensions, material, configuration or delivery destination after receiving a quotation, the price may need to be recalculated. A quotation prepared for one specification should not be assumed to apply to a materially different product.

For this reason, we encourage customers to review measurements and product requirements carefully before approving custom or bulk orders. Where technical information comes from a contractor, installer or project team, providing that information early can help avoid unnecessary revisions.

13. Our Approach to Order Accuracy

Our objective is to keep the ordering process clear and reduce avoidable misunderstandings. We distinguish between information that has been confirmed, information supplied by a manufacturer or supplier, preliminary estimates and information still awaiting confirmation.

We do not want customers to make purchasing decisions based on a feature that has only been assumed from a photograph. Important features such as materials, accessories, smart-lock functionality, warranty, production time or other technical characteristics should be supported by the relevant product or supplier information before being treated as confirmed.

14. Which Ordering Option Is Right for You?

Choose a single order when you need one product or a small quantity and the requirement is relatively straightforward. If the exact product is not listed, you can still request sourcing for a single unit.

Choose a bulk order when you need larger quantities for resale, business operations, an organization or repeated use. Bulk orders allow the quantity, supplier requirements and logistics to be reviewed together.

Choose a project quotation when the purchase involves multiple specifications, customized products, building materials, scheduled quantities or a broader procurement requirement.

15. Ready to Place an Order?

If the product you need is already listed on Remarkable Marketplace, you can review the product information and proceed according to the available purchasing options. If you need a different specification, a larger quantity, a custom product or an item that is not currently listed, send us a quotation request.

For the fastest review, include the product name or photograph, specification, quantity and delivery location. Our team can then determine what additional information is necessary, review the sourcing requirements and prepare the appropriate next step for your order.

Remarkable Marketplace — from individual purchases to bulk sourcing and project requirements, our aim is to make the ordering process clear, practical and properly managed.
